Electricity demand globally, in any country, is consistently on the rise. This industry, with the exception of maintenance, has no limit to its growth. Progress in various aspects of life, development, and population growth leads to the creation of additional infrastructure, such as roads. However, electricity remains an essential aspect of life. Geothermal energy in Indonesia has been established for 35 years, with Kamojang operating for that duration. "We've known about geothermal in Indonesia for 35 years."

In past years, the geothermal association's yearly scientific meeting, as required by its articles of association, was conducted through the IIGCE event. The current event focuses on the theme "Making Geothermal the Energy of Today," highlighting our joint dedication to advancing the national energy transition. This involves diminishing reliance on fossil fuels and promoting renewable energy, with geothermal energy as a crucial component.
